I have bought a new NX Hitman kit. What is the best way to run the fuel line, such as splice in. I am running a 2 port regulator, so then can I just use the second port to tap into, would that be best, sure would be easiest. And I hear that I need to run a blow-down tube, I already have a hole in the floor where I can run it, but what exactly is a blow-down tube, how does it mount to the bottle, and where can I get one at??

Your bottle needs to have a safety relief fitting with an -8AN connection on it. You either get a rigid "blowdown tube" from your manufacturer, and route it through a hole in the floor, or you get an -8AN "bulkhead" fitting to put in the hole in the floor, and run an -8AN SS hose from the pressure relief fitting to the bulkhead fitting. Many bottles do not come with the -8AN fitting, and you need to buy a fitting and remove the old fitting/diffuser and replace it with the correct fitting.
What does your fuel system look like? If its a dead-ended system you can come off the regulator. If its a recirculated system with the regulator on the return line, it isn't going to work.

Thanks for the input. I am running a Holley Black pump to a 2 port holley reg. closed ended to a 825 Demon carb. Where can I get the fittings you speak of ??? Only other time I ran a NOS kit was in my CHevelle, and it was in the trunk, so no blow-down was needed. Thanks for the help.

You get the -8AN pressure relief fitting from the manufacturer of your bottle/valve. Example:

You can get an -8AN bulkhed fitting from most fitting sources, like Aeroquip. The -8AN hose can be made from parts readily available from Summit or JEG's, or can be ordered custom made from sources including eBay.
