relocation brackets...bolt in or weld on ?red96z 05-03-2006, 06:11 PM i heard these help now which should i get ? is the only difference the bolt on is not really permanent? 93redBirdMan 05-03-2006, 06:16 PM Honestly everyone on here will either tell you to just buy the weld in, OR buy the bolt in and tack weld them after you bolt them in. Ive had mine on for over a month, only bolted in, and as long as they're torqued to correct specs, they arent going to move. Bolted is fine, but welded is always going to be better... Z95m6 05-03-2006, 06:18 PM Bolt on's won't work with aftermarket rear ends. I have bolt ons and am happy with them. Bud M 05-03-2006, 11:22 PM The other difference is that you can install bolt in yourself even if you can't weld. shoebox 05-03-2006, 11:52 PM i heard these help now which should i get ? is the only difference the bolt on is not really permanent? Your sig shows you probably launch hard. Weld-ons would likely be the most reliable for you, IMO. BMR told me a long time ago that bolt-ons (like I have) are fine until you are cutting some really low sixtys. I don't race my car, so the bolt-ons are fine for me. Like was already said, you can also tack-in the bolt-ons later. Honda Hunter 05-03-2006, 11:57 PM I had my bolt ons welded. | ||
