Hard to define best. IMO it's a great time to buy progressive controllers, with so many affordable units that available now. Find one from one of the site sponsors that best fits your needs.

I just bought the NOS 15974NOS contoller

i was also looking hard at the FJO unit, but decided the NOS piece (mostly for the small handheld controller and the fact that it does not require a computer to program, like the FJO does.)

It looks like Harrisspeedworks has some nice controllers too, some with more and some with less features that the controller I went with.
Like I mentioned, just look around and find one with the features you want.

That's number one on my list so far but I dont know if it's the best. I hear the FJO stuff is best.

I will have to go with the FJO units being the best.
The maximizer is the best unit on the market. However it may have some features you do not need.

FJO and NOS also makes some units with less options at a lower cost.
I would have to go with one of these three.

I believe that we'll be running a sale on our controllers towards the end of the week. Should include all three models, one to fit every need & budget. ;)

Now that's what I like to hear. Can you PM me or post the differences between this http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog/product_details.asp?group=26&model=84&dept=11&product_id=952 and the Edge? Those are the 2 highest at the list. Before I didnt like the FJO one because I needed to have a laptop for it but now I have a dedicated laptop for the car so that's no longer a deal breaker. Any info you could provide comparing the 2 would be great.

I know it's a little off topic and not what was asked for - but I think the HSW Angle is a cool piece. I bet it makes a killer budget contolller.

That FJO unit is the one I was thinking of buying. With that unit you dont need a window switch or WOT switch right? Does it has safety feature for leaning out? When you program it do you still have to use jets?

THe 206 dollar FJO unit has a built in window switch,TPS, first gear lock out and the progressive features.

The unit not only has a time base ramp but also has a RPM base ramp. The RPM base ramp is great for the guy playing on the street.

A extra box has to be used in order to work in conjuction with a wideband.

So since Ill be on both the street and strip the FJO would probably work best for me?
