Nossle placement ?

Is there a such thing as having the nossle to far back in the intake tract? Anyone put thier nossle in their CAI just before it meets the elbow?
I am 93 so no MAF.

Most kits I have seen say 2-6 inches from throttle body. I don't think it could hurt, because the dry kits spray from way up where the MAF is. I wouldn't do it with the stock elbow though, afraid fuel would puddle up in the donkey dong.

I had my NX wet system nozzle mounted about 2.5' back from the throttlebody and wasn't getting near the HP gain as a friend with a similar setup and his nozzle mounting about 8'' back. I discussed the differences with my tuner, Jeff Creech, and he felt that I wasn't getting the full benefit from the cooling affects/concentration of the nitrous because of the nozzle placement. I relocated my nozzle closer but haven't used or re-dyno'd yet.
