I did mine when I replaced my water pump, so I had a little more room, but it really isn't that hard. Have to take the alternator off, there are input and output hoses to disconnect, one is kinda tricky to get to. Bleeding is pretty easy. It took me a couple days but that was because I had class, it rained (doing it in apartment parking lot) and I had to take a bunch more stuff out for the water pump.
If you have a Hayne's manual it walks you through it pretty well.

cool man, thanks alot
btw, what kind of pump did you end up picking up and where?
I'm thinkin dealer for this cuz i don't want it leaking in three weeks because I used a crappy re-man from pep-boys,autozone, etc
also, do the ls1 cars use the same pump?
