To just give away Steve's dimensions after he did all the work just aint right IMO. 95z28pwr 04-20-2006, 12:33 PM I built one last weekend. Just take the measurements of the area you have to work with and build accordingly. It's a very difficult space to work with, so your finished product may have a lot of angles and adjustments to get it to fit properly. Build whatever your space will allow. There is no possible way I could have made mine bigger even if I tried. Although I would've liked some more space, it will have to do :S shortman1124 04-20-2006, 11:01 PM do you have any pics? 2kflhr 04-20-2006, 11:34 PM I think this is something you should figure out on your own. IMO, Thats part of the problems in this old world, many are greedy, stingy, or whatever..... The old "I got mine, you get yours" sucks, how about "let's figure this thing out". LS1 RULZ 04-21-2006, 12:05 AM Put yourself in Steve's shoes for a second. You start up a company and put a lot of work and effort into designing and building products for fellow car stereo enthusiasts. Then someone that's too lazy to do a little work themselves comes along and wants you to just give them the plans that you worked so hard on. Can you honestly say that wouldn't piss you off? jkucz31 05-09-2006, 06:36 PM Put yourself in Steve's shoes for a second. Not someone who is lazy maybe someone who wants to save some money or is not smart enough to make there own.Someone who doesnt want to waste his money by doing it wrong in the first place. LS1 RULZ 05-09-2006, 06:47 PM Steve does ALL the work and you expect him to just give away this information? You're dreaming pal. cam3.4aro 05-09-2006, 06:56 PM I'm probably buying one soon. Ive taken the whole plastic panel off the rear drivers side and built a fiberglass replica of it for a box. It was hard getting the air space above the shock mount( i think it was the shock...long time ago) and up past it. It wasnt sturdy enough though. There was all kinds of buzzing going on from the vibration of the fiberglass on the metal of the car. In the end, it didnt look great enough to keep and the sounds of the buzzing caused me to literally rip it out of my car and stomp the crap out of it with my size 11 Wolverine. I wasnt lazy at all...i got all the demensions...built it...hated it...destroyed it.. want to buy one that works. lol jkucz31 05-09-2006, 08:22 PM maybe someone isnt mechanically inclined to build there own LS1 RULZ 05-09-2006, 08:23 PM maybe someone isnt mechanically inclined to build there own All the more reason to buy one. cam3.4aro 05-09-2006, 08:28 PM oh, im mechanically inclined... I'm just too impatient to do it right. | ||
