94 Z28 vs Porsche Cayman

I was cruising on the freeway last night on the way home, and I got passed by a white porsche cayman with two guys in it. I have run against boxsters and havent had any problems with them before, so I wanted to see how I would fare against their new big brother.

I roll up next to him and give him a thumbs up to compliment him on his car. Next I give him a signal to show that I want to run and he gives me a big **** eating grin. I drop it down to 3rd and am sitting at about 4500 rpm waiting for him to go first, and after a few seconds, he bites and goes for it. I hit it, and take half a length lead before shifting into 4th. I wind out 4th and keep it down for a bit of 5 and I am a couple of lengths ahead.

Overall, I was happy with the outcome. I have intake, mac mids w/ ory, magnaflow, madz28 tuning. I didnt use the nitrous on this run. I also have a fidanza al flywheel and lightweight clutch which saved something like 20 lbs of rotating mass, but I think the benefits from these mods are more evident from low speed starts and really didnt factor into a highway run.

Mike.

Nice kill. I like the Cayman. They should have put it out two years earlier, instead of selling out and making the Cayenne, Because suvs are the gayest trend in american history. Imho
