On my last motor I ran breathers in both covers. Now on my new motor I have LT4 composite covers. I was thinking of drilling out the driver's side to vent some pressure also. Is it necessary to do this? Is one side good enough? I will only be running around 8# of boost on a 9:1 compression motor. Also I did a search and it is 50/50 on hooking the breathers lines to the inlet of the blower. What do guys think of this also. Thanks guys for any replies.......John

I leave the PCV hose stock and run the breather hose to the inlet of the blower. I had to put an air compressor water separator in the breather hose to keep oil vapors from getting into the inlet of the supercharger. Every so often I empty the oil back into the crankcase.
When I ran a straight breather filter I would get oil on the valve covers from high rpm runs. So I switched to my current setup.
Another good thing is that I pull a vacuum on the crankcase at Wot and at idle.

Thanks for the reply. Should I run both valve covers like that or is one sufficient? Thanks,,,,,,,John

One will be sufficient. No need to hack up those new composite valve covers. Where did you buy them? Do they say Corvette on them?

They came on a long block I purchased. I know pace performance parts sells them for like $94 a piece plus screws and gaskets. No, they do not say anything on them. I can send some pics if you like. Thanks again....John
