hey guys, i ran my car for the first time at the 1/4th, i ran 13.4 @103mph. my 60foot was 2.01, i think i can shave a few 10ths off of it. I used 23lbs of air in the tires and did nice long burnouts and moved up until i heard them squealing, but i still spun all the way through first gear, btw i have an A4. i have the stock T/C so i stalled untill 1200rpm and mashed the gas, i think mashing the gas is part of my problem but it didn't feel like the tires wanted to hook up. Should i remove more pressure? does anyone run these tires or have an suggestions about launching with the stock T/C, shift kit, and 3.73s?

I think you should try a shorter burnout. Maybe 3-4 seconds.

All of my Nitto Drags liked a 7-8 second 2nd gear burnout. I ran my 315's at 20PSI. It never hooked on spray but they had no problem going 1.80 with a stock TC in a TPI car with 3.73's. 14 second car also.:)
Try different burnout lengths, always drive around the water and back into it. I liked to stand on the brake at 1500rpm, let off, roll onto the throttle hard. Let the car transfer a little weight to the rear before full throttle. Remove the front sway bar also! That's a very FREE way to get more front end movement, weight transfer, and reduce weight.
