Does anybody know if there is an alternative available to the mp3 player for permanent installation in a car?
I have the Kenwood Music Keg in my Camaro but I don't think they make it anymore. I really do not need or want an Ipod mounted to my dash but hate carrying cd's. I love the 20GB of music storage on my Music Keg.

Also, I have the prem sound sys in my Impala I just bought. What kind of system is this in the 04 gm's? I can't find anything on the amp or rear speakers saying Monsson, Bose, etc.

You could always get a MP3 head unit.

I really don't want to change the HU though because I program the features on the car/key fob through it as well. Even the oil life program is reset through the stock HU.

You're looking to upgrade the music keg or something new for the impala?
