Help!

I pulled the radio fuse the other day in my '99 SS so I could program my door locks, alarm, etc (you pull the fuse to go into "programming mode") plugged the fuse back in. I didn't drive the car for a few days and when I tried to use the radio, it doesn't work. It will turn on and even appear to play a cd, but there is no sound at all. Not even static.
At first I thought maybe it was locked, but I already tried that. Although this may become an excuse to get a nice aftermarket stereo, I just want my stock radio to work for now. Please help!

Any ideas??

Welcome to the higly un-reliable world of the POS Monsoon system. If you read enough posts here and on other forums you'll find that the POS Monsoon is crapping out ALL the time. The buttons quit working, the lights quit working, the CD player quits working, the display section quits working, etc., etc. Time for an upgarde to a quality after-market setup.

Well, I liked the Monsoon in my '02 Z28, but that was a 500 watt and this is a 200 watt. Plus, this one is a convertible, so I tell my self a convertible shouldn't sound as good as an excuse, because the sound doesn't have things to "bounce off".

I was driving down the road yesterday and hit a bump, and the radio came back on, FULL BLAST. Maybe something was loose in the back, who knows.

Thanks

Don't believe those over-hyped power numbers for one second. They are MAX power figures and are totally meaningless.
