Remember the Camaro Legends tour? You could get a certificate from them for $500 of a Camaro. I used it to buy my 2002 Camaro SS.

Mine was for $1,000 I could have sworn? It's been so long and I piled up so many incentives that they didn't know what was going on. I got the College grad, GM card, and the Legends tour plus the camaro rebates also.

I think that would be a great idea... I'd say past owners with pictures of them with there cars would be enough to spark a certificate. I say that because there are alot of guys out there who gave up their rides when the family arrived and can now afford a new Camaro. Why not great them back with a discount?

I get the feeling that dealers are allowed to deny those?
How much did you end up getting off of your Camaro?

I also got 30 more and mailed them out to SLP board members. It's a great memory and was the first time my wife and I met Scott.:D

Actually, the original Legends Tour certificate was for $500.......we increased it the last year to $1,000.

"Officially" we put the incentive out there for people who happened to drive by a Camaro gathering.......see the Legends Tour....and get them to buy a Camaro. (so they could be 'enlightened' to the wonderful experience of owning a Camaro!:D )

"Unofficially" we did it to reward our Camaro Enthusiasts.

(gotta keep everyone happy in the financial community!)

It sure sounds like a good reason to revive the Camaro Legends tour, along with the incentive when it comes time to promote the production version of the new Camaro.

I'll be sure to grab my coupon at Carlisle. :)

Sorry for the delay, I paid $18,900 before tax and tags but after all the rebates. No money down or trade. I special ordered it, 1SC(stripper package), no rear defrost, roll up windows, no cruise,etc.. Only options I ordered were Hurst shifter, tan manual leather seats, and steering wheel radio controls. Loved that car! Hopefully will get the chance again with the new one. Hopefully we will still be able to get the stripper package on it!

I know they gave out loyalty vouchers for the new Tahoe's, $1500 if I remember, if you bought a new SUV recently..

Technically, I am not the original buyer of my 99, so I guess I'll probably miss out if they do.. ;(

I just hope the pricing doesn't get jacked too high w/ dealer's "FMV" pricing :( .

I wonder if an incentive could help curb dealer markup somehow?
