Driver side window dies after 2 seconds of use!

I have a 99 Z/28. The window just started to act up. It stops about an inch and a half open. Have to wait a bit just to move it half that. The passenger side window works just fine. No problems. Now I did finally replace all the speakers in my car and a new cd player, and I notice it got worse the farther I went.

Is it loose connection? Or are the speakers soaking up too much power? How bout the altenator? Head lights dim now and then. I havent a clue about this! Help would be nice!

Your window motor is on its way out and needs to be replaced.

Yeah its not your speakers or anythign else liek that. The motor is on its way out. The only thing u can do other than replace it is to adjust it. Sometimes it gets out of line and then takes alot more work to move it. There was a thread somewhere about how to adjust them.

Yup, your thermal Circuit Breaker is shot in the Window Motor; best bet is to just replace the motor.
