RW is somewhere in the 3100 range, we did were not able to scale it.

Bolt ons include: CAI, 52mmTB, LT4 springs, 1.6RR, EWP, Hooker Headers/y-pipe, Moser 12/spool/4.33s, BMR K-member, BMR Upper and Lower A-arms, Herron Performance LCAs, PHR, and Tuning. Spohn Adj TA, Rear drag bar, Alt Relocation kit with PS delete, !HVAC, SJM LL/!ABS, !interior, APC Steering wheel, 1 cloth manual seat. 4" pin on cowl VFN Hood, !BS, 12" single fan.

Warriors on ET Streets 26/11.5/15.

If there are any left out mods it was not on purpose, but I believe that is an exhaustive list.

EDIT:left out EWP.

Ah so its no longer anywhere near a street car. Still impressive, but not my kinda car.

LMAO, what would make it a street car?
If I put Tags/Insurance on it plus the muffler, I could drive it anywhere and still pull nearly 20+MPG.....

What makes you say that? Because it's not your kinda car? Doesn't mean it isn't streetable.

Because it has no interior at all, its a full spool, and I doubt you would drive around everyday on ET Streets. Like I said, its impressive, but I find full interior, drive it like it is to the track cars more impressive.

I understand, and thru this year I will be adding back in the interior panels and some type of carpet. about 10#s of stuff.

But in reality it is in street mode, if i drove it to the track it would be just like it is when it is on the trailer....

I have seen others drive daily on ET Streets and a spool.

Any, doesnt really matter, this car's purpose was to run 11's with a stock motor, it has done it and it's alot of fun!!

What is NOT impressive is a 408LSx/AFR Heads/Cam/NX kit/D10s running low 11s, that is what is not impressive.

WTG Shon, the car is really running well. Looks like I may need to consider some weight reduction.

Shon Herron
03-26-2006, 09:06 PM
Weight reduction has helped more than any mods!

DarkHorse

I'm hoping to move into the 3300# range this season - lots of reductions over the Winter with more planned.

Needs: Lighter carpet, lift off hood and tubular front end pieces.

Hey don't get me wrong, I think its freaking awesome and I know what you are trying to do. I know if you really wanted to you could drive the car like that everyday. I am just saying I would rather have something more comfortable and run a little slower.

I can not emphasize enough how much the weight reduction helped.
My car should be sub 3100 when it finally leaves the garage again and it looks like a full interior minus the backseats.
I can only dream of 11s on a stock motor........if it goes faster than 12.50s I will be in ecstasy.

I wonder if anyone ever considered dieting as a way to make their car faster :D I've seen some fat ppl driving f-bodies :)

I haven't done anything to my car to reduce its weight, I even race with the spare tire still in the car and it weights in right at 3400lbs with me in it.

If I could shift the car like Russ, the driver mod would be a good 50# reduction!

Good job. The car moves out great. I think I could get my car in the
11's...but I dont wanna remove all that weight. Keep it up though. I'm sure there is more in it. I know Russ can drive but damn, Its always better when YOU run the times in your own car. What are the best times you have run?

LOL, yep Shon that radical stock cam must be tough to drive on the street. Must idle around 3,500 just to keep it running I bet.

It's tough, I dont think it has seen much below 4k since we bolted on these parts.

Great work man, lov seeing folks push the bar. I really wonder if you took an auto, full out suspension in a very gutted car what it could do.

That was going to be what I wanted to do, but I am itching for more power and might throw a cam in before I get it down that far...

Either way good numbers Shon...

So a cam/heads is bolt on? I dont think so... Apparently almost ANYTHING is "bolt on" then right, wrong...

This has been heavily bebated for many years now... And there were rules for many different competitions that layed down RR's as a bolt on, sorry if you don't like it. But that's the way it works, know the rules before you race...

This car could very easily be a T-braked TH350 soon. I like the M6 stuff, very cool but I cant drive it that fast and clutch issues are pissing me off, then I could drive it and it would probably go faster, LOL.

I am 30+#s less than russ:eek:

Well then I stand corrected. That's cool.

But that's the way it works, know the rules before you race...

This could have been left unsaid. You sound like a cheesy person from the fast and the furious lol...
