Lakewood Lower Control Lift Bars?

What do you guys think about these? Yes or no? How do they make the car sit? Any pictures with them on the car?

They don't change the way the car sits. They are supposed to help plant the tires harder...I'd stick with the main players that people have success on this board with: Spohn, Hotchkis, BMR, UMI, etc...I don't know of anyone using these things on our cars, but I could be wrong...

Most of the posts I've read from Lakewood users complain about the "traction action" bars tearing themselves apart.... appears they put the rear suspension in "bind".

There are far too many 4th Gens that have gone deep into the 1.3x 60-ft, or even 1.2x 60-ft times with the stock style suspension, and without resorting to gimmicks like the Lakewood bars.

Ok but those real low 60' times were with DR's. I don't plan putting DR's on my car so I'm trying to get all I can out of the rear suspension with High Perf. street tires. So you guys think this helps no more then just LCAs and Relo brackets? I've talked to a couple guys that have them and said they work pretty good. But I dont know which way to go now ,lol.

I heard the same thing, they break.

Your not going to do any better with a street tire no matter how much suspension stuff you put on the car. Tires will have the most impact on traction, Period. If your dead set on running a street tire then just plan on not getting the best traction possible.
I have lots of suspension parts under my car and with DRs it hooks pretty good, with regular street shoes forget about it.......I roll race with street tires on. :lol:

Ok, so I think I'll save a few dollars and forget about them then. I'll just get some relocation brackets and goodyear F1 GS-D3's and see what I can get out of them.
