Ok i just receive my last part, its 2 new braided front flex hoses from a c5 corvette to complete my C5 conversion.

I order them because the stocker lines(lt1) are a little short for the conversion. But when i look at them they seems to be pretty short too...But maybe im wrong.

I measure one of them and i got 16"

Is it good?Whats the lenght of the C5 front flex brake line?

Thank you :)

I'm looking at the same thing... no way I'm going to bend the bracket so I've got to find longer lines.

Problem I've got is that every time I think about this issue I'm at work... and the car's at home so I can't go out and measure the line length. I expect they're shorter than 16" though.

The LS1 brakes use slightly shorter brake hoses than the LT1 cars. Many people use the LT1 lines for the LS1 brakes. Which ever hose you use you will have to modify the bracket. I did some checking and found out the LS1 cars have a different hose mount bracket that sticks out about an inch further and at a different angle. They are are also dirt cheap from your dealer.

Just measured it out... 12" for the LT1 Lines. I've picked up some 90 degree elbows to try out and see if they'll work.

Umm... hey... where did you get those lines? They were plain old stock C5 length lines?

I've been calling all over trying to find someone who can get me 15-16" lines but none of them seems able or willing to help me find lines that will work... they are incapable of dealing with anyone who doesn't want 'stock lt1' replacement lines.

friggin idiots.

for the C5 Conversion just buy 97-04 C5 front brake lines. That is the easiest thing to do.
