Zexel Torsion LSD. SLP Takeoff

Was literally one of the last ones SLP had. About a year ago heard SLP was sold out, found out Texas speed had 2 in stock left over from SLP.

Bought it, I had it installed for about 8 months, had cancer for part of it.

I put probably 8,000 or less miles on it.

Only reason I took it out, is I threw a 3.42 rear in with a Auburn diff, rear ended up making noise, but I prefer the auburn over the zexel torsion. It works fine.

Asking $150 Giving locals a heads up before I throw it up on ebay and put it on the v6 boards...

Is this a 3 series? What gears were you running with this carrier?

I take it you bought this differential as brand new and have only put 8k on it?

Unless this is something other than what I'm used to; I think the Zexel is a gear locking differential rather than limited slip. There are no clutches in the Torsens that I have experience with.

Please post or PM the gear ratio you were using with this differential.

thanks

It was a 3 series, and I was using factory 3.23s(GU5) on a 5-speed v6 camaro with it.

I bought it "new" as a SLP takeoff, SLP takeoffs, were factory z28 parts that they removed then put upgraded parts fro SS and firehawks...

so it likely had less then 50 miles on it. but it was removed from a new car. IT is the factory style

It is the gear locking style... just most people call it "lsd"

It is found in most of the factory ls1 v8 f-bodies

but just to warn a sale is pending tonight...
