So yeah.. this guy flys by me doing like 80. He catches a light and when i pulled up i noticed his plate read something like "SLEEPER 6". So I have a spun bearing but i raced him anyways. The thing was pretty fast.. i spun through first and second and he pulled on me a bit. By the time i hit 3rd i was pulling on him. The next light merged into a 1 way.. i ended up getting the lane. :) I bet he felt awesome keeping up with me. Oh well.. that damn near killed my car. I can feel the knocking in my pedals now and the car boggs like crazy. Good times.
Oh.. this was a new regal btw... like a 00-02ish i think.

Nice kill, both the bearings and the Regal. I'd start carrying a cell phone if you dont already cause when those rods exit your block, that car isnt going anywhere ;) Find a bottom end yet?

355 - Bored/honed, line honed, 2 bolt mains studded with ARP studs, durabond cam bearings, freeze plugs. Deck milled to 9" deck height. Stock crankshaft lightened/turned and polished. Scat 4340 I beam rods with ARP bolts(6.0" length), Mahle forged/coated pistons and metric rings setup for up to 200 shot/or small boost. Clevite H bearings, Hi volume oil pump. $1700 shipped.. if he still has it when i get the money. Gotta figure out what im going to do as far as h/c goes. Cant let you be faster. ;)

I raced that Buick down Pearl, last Summer. It's an Abboud edition. Not sure how modded it was but I destroyed him from a stop. He wanted to go from a roll so we jumped on 71 N and went from a 40ish roll. Had him by several cars at 110 MPH.

Symptoms are a loud knocking from within the engine. If you continue driving on it, you can expect internal engine parts to become external engine parts.
