How does the hood release on the concept?
They say it's the same as the 1st gen Camaro. Is this true, I never realized the 1st gen worked like this.

For the millionth time gang...we are talking about a CONCEPT. It is

NOT
a carbon copy of what a production version will be. Try to keep that in mind!

Good lord!
Ok well my 69 Camaro hood opens by a latch inside the grille that you have to push to the side. same type of latch on todays cars only there is no release inside the car. My 68 C-10 had a latch you had to pull up. Again no latch on the inside but easy to use. But if you break down on the side of the road and leave your engine is fair game. They stopped doing it a long time ago for a reason.
Im sure whatever they come up will be like 4th gen, GTO or something new and hopefully easy.
Even the hood latch is retro. ;)

Yeah, that's hot.
They probably also did it to minimize clutter and ****

On the standard coupe its a latch at the tip of the nose at the top of the grill. (Totally hidden unless you're lying on the ground looking up at it.)
On the RS it's a lever behind the front bumper and slightly right of center. I'm guessing it would be closer to the standard coupe than the RS on the concept.
