Tbi ? Please Help Aaahhhhh......

well its a tbi motor the f/i system with the 2 injectors. well the car didnt want to start today i had cleaned the engine bay . i changed module,plugs,cables,air & fuel filter did an oil change.i go to crank it over and it wont kick on it just turns over it didnt want to start but did turn over.

finaly i noticed there was no fuel coming from the injectors when the motor would turn over.i disconnected feed line and checked for pressure and sure enough there WAS....

then i went in the cabin to check the fuses and noticed the inj. fuse in the fuse box had popped replaced it with another 10 amp fuse. then i got to start car it turns ON BUT IT WONT ACCEL...

i then noticed there was only fuel spraying out of the pass side injector and absouletly nothing coming from the driver side one. the car stays running perfect at idle but then when you rev the motor still no fuel comes out of the driver side injector. the motor takes a while to rev and then backfires when i rev it high and let go....

on one occasion the driver side injector bowl filled all the way to the top with fuel, but since the first crank it has nt sprayed nothing.


guys i need help here...

put a volt meter on the injector to see if its still good. you could just have a bad injector.

anyone else would like to chime in how doi check it from the plug.

I had a similiar problem with a crossfire TBI/305. Only one injector would fire. Turned out to be a bad ECM in my case.

Unplug the right and left injectors. cross the wiring by pluging the right to the left and the left to the right. If the driverside still don't work then it's the injector. If it still don't work then you will need to dig a little deaper. REMEMBER TO CROSS THE WIRES BACK TO THE TO PROPER INJECTORS.
