I love everything about it but will there be a t-top? And I love 69 camaros and their hidden headlights. I hope that since its 69ish that when it goes into production they will make an ss version with hidden headlights. And will their be a Trans am??? I hope so!
P.S. I hate mustangs:mad:

:thumb: +1 on the 69 RS style headlights. I have been hoping that will be an option also.

I would like to see hidden headlights like Kris Horton's design. Nobody knows about t-tops, speculation says no, but it is speculation. No Firebird or Trans Am. Confirmed in multiple Lutz interviews.

You will not EVER see a Pontiac Trans Am again . GM had to pay a royalty to use the name . They fee was based in 60's , if GM chose to ever use the Trans Am name again the royalty would be based on current $$$$ = a helluva lot more than before :)

Actually I was thinking. The 69 doors on the RS lights have 3 slots to let light through in case they get stuck. RS cars dont look good with the doors open anyway so why not just have it so you can put the covers over regular Camaro headlights so that they become 3 or 2 slotted headlights so long as enough gets through to see. No doors to break, no motors to go bad or pay for. You get the look for cheaper. Only problem I see is if enough light isnt produced through those slots though. Just a thought.

...any obstuction of the headlight beam pattern would never pas DOT .

I was thinking the design would either be head light covers similar to GTS Idea and be removable, or an alternative headlights where it would only appear to block them but The headlights would actually be the bars rather than the bars being where the light shown through like before. Its just an idea

T-tops?
Most likely not. It would be an engineering nightmare creating tops that won't leak on a car that has no "B" pillar, let alone the wind noise.
Hidden Lights?
Again, most likely not.... make that most certainly not. Ever notice that the 4th gen Camaro lost it's power antenna option? This was done to raise it's dependability scores. Because Camaro had less doh-dads (ie: retractable headlights) it had a better quality rating than Firebird.
....and oh, by the way... GM ISN'T going to spring the money for hidden lights on the Camaro. They're going to have enough keeping them busy making sure there's no glitches as it is, let alone adding an expensive item on a car that's already going to be hard pressed to sell at "$200 over Mustang".
Trans Am?
I think if you do a search, you'll find 10,233 instances in the past few months alone on it being dead, why it's dead, why it's never going to return, and why that horse has been beaten to death to obliteration.
(the number's an exaggeration, but this subject is beyond dead. No Trans Am)
You hate Mustangs?
You are aware there Mr. Wiseguy that if it wasn't for the Mustang (the new one as well as the original) and the fact that Flat Rock is pumping out Mustangs at near capacity, there wouldn't be a new Camaro, right???? :p

*Hidden Headlights*
As Guy stated, it'll never be on the car from the factory. However this sounds like a perfect idea for the aftermarket to exploit. I imagine there would be some money to be made in coming up with an aftermarket, RS style grill for a 5th gen.
*Patents idea don't you steal it*:p
