Anyone with a LT1 and T56???

Im almost done with the install, but I have a few more questions. I've got it all in and mounted, but I have a new problem. The shifter is up through the floor and it appears as if tho it will hit the passenger side of the console. I'm not positive because I dont have the shifter handle for it yet, but It looks way off center. Let me know. Thank you guys for your help. Much appreciated:bow:

The t56 shifter handle itself is offset to the driver side.
