2000 camaro z28 for trade or sell
2000 camaro z28 for trade or sell
I'm considering selling my car to purchase a more practical vehicle (ie. a truck) here's the details:
2000 Camaro Z28 - Hardtop - VIN# 2g1fp22g6y2175447
Black Leather interior (no rips, tears, only minor cracking.. great condition, looks damn near new)
Steering Controls, 12 disk changer, cruise control, power, etc.
102k miles (101k, but i've been daily driving it here and there, and it'll probably be up another thousand)
A4 Automatic
Performance Mods:
Lid
Electric Cutout, tastefully installed switch next to cellphone holder
Exterior Mods:
Halo lights (still have original's in garage, look great tho)
LT1 Tail lights (have the ls1's in the garage, previous owner just liked lt1's better, and so do I)
!grille
Details:
- Very reliable, knocks down about 17/26 (runs a little rich too)
- Non-smoker maintained
- New rear brakes, front brakes decent
- Tires have plenty of tread
- Synthetic oil changes
- bubbles along edges of hardtop (happens on all hardtops, unfortunately)
- Needs passenger side sunvisor, it got lost (will likely buy before it's sold)
- functional a/c, heater, etc.
Reason for selling:
Lookin to downgrade vehicles to a cheap s-10 blazer or something, just got married and in the house market.
I'd like to get $7800 slightly neg.
As mentioned.. the price is negotiable. I do not claim to be the best photographer, that's for sure.. but here is some outside pics of the car.. there are 2-3 chips right at the edge of the door. I'll have pics of the roof, and the interior soon.

Re: 2000 camaro z28 for trade or sell
I bought Josh's GTO a while back sight unseen, and everthing was just as advertised. He was very patient with a bunch of bull**** my bank gave me too.
Good seller.
Good seller.

Those parts were neve ron the car... i had a bunch of new parts to put on it, but sold them all.. hadn't really had any interest in making the car faster because I didn't really race it.. I just put 500 miles on it today going to a funeral
She's tip-top.. I'd drive her to california.

Josh

10-4 on that.. I had t-tops in my last car, but I opted for hardtop for multiple reasons.. Mainly weight and rigidity. Thanks for looking, and good luck with your search.

Re: 2000 camaro z28 for trade or sell
Does it have 3.23s or 2.73s, missed that detail if you stated?
It looks repainted in the pics for some reason, is it (aren't the door handles and side mirror housings black from the factory)? If so who did it/what kind of paintjob?
What oil pressure does it have at warm idle, cruising, WOT, etc?
No warning signs of issues you know of like tranny getting tired or anything?
Any other blemishes other than the mentioned roof bubbles (pic? no idea what that entails) and small door chips, no dents or clearcoat peeling anywhere? Do you still have the factory grill?
What's your bottom line price? This looks pretty interesting and I'm only like a hour half drive away. I might could swing the money, have to do some calculating...
Oh yeah, is the cutout installed in such a way that it would interfere with bolting up a aftermarket catback easily?

Re: 2000 camaro z28 for trade or sell
Car has not been repainted.. original paint is in good shape. My camera is sorta crappy, so it might have made it look like that.
The car has 3.23's.. not the crappy 2.73's
Tranny doesn't slip or anything. I wouldn't go beating on it every single day, but it does shift good, and I have it tuned to lockup a little early for gas milage.. and it locks up nice and firm. I would suggest whomever is interested test drive it to verify these facts for themselves, to be honest.
The pic shows that in the corner of the door there is 2-3 chips, like where it shuts on the edge. I do have the factory grill, but it's sorta bent from removal.. I think... I'll double check. They are a dime a dozen though, because everybody removes them.
I'm not sure on the cutout, I'll have to get back to you on that.
Just tested for ya, the car has about 55 lbs of oil pressure at idle when cold, then when it warms up drops to about 40, and under cruise it hangs around 55. It has good oil pressure.. better than some of my friends newer ls1's.
Peace,
Josh

Re: 2000 camaro z28 for trade or sell
Car has not been repainted.. original paint is in good shape. My camera is sorta crappy, so it might have made it look like that. There's of course random scratches that could use a buffing.. and then theres a few random chips on the front clip towards the bottom from road driving, but they are not very noticable.. and in fact I didn't even know they were there until I just doublechecked today from somebody else asking.
The car has 3.23's.. not the crappy 2.73's
Tranny doesn't slip or anything. I wouldn't go beating the **** out of it like it was a new car, but it don't have no trouble slipping or anything.. It shifts relatively firm (as firm as stock gets), and positive.
