I have a 98 with the standard T56--nothing fancy.

I try to change my tranny fluid yearly, and have typically used the Mobil 1 fully synthetic auto tranny fluid.

But, I am going to be starting to participate more regularly in autocrosses, so I am going to change it again before the season starts.

My question is, is this the best option? Or is there some fluid/additive out there that will help prevent excessive wear and tear?

Any input would be appreciated.
