Here is some pics of me "new" Z28.

I just purchased it from a friend for 1500.00. He wanted to sell it because the AC compressor went out........I got a killer deal on this one.

your friend is pretty dumb if he sold it for 1500 just because the ac compressor went bad. no offense or anything.....but maybe there's something else wrong with it that he didn't tell you about.

I envy you... 1500 bucks is a very good deal. The A/C was bad in my car when I got it and I didn't get it for 1500 bucks. Anyways, I will quit ranting, that is a nice car you got there.

Re: Here is some pics of me "new" Z28.

i got mine for 3600 and it had a big dent in the rear drivers 1/4, broken taillight, and a broken rear filler panel, and the window motors were dead

you got one hell of a steal

but how many miles does it have??????

Re: Here is some pics of me "new" Z28.

its probably a 94, 3.4 v6, w/ 200k. the top/windsheild probably leaked like a **** in it, and it probably has water in the wheel wells. it needs brakes, and the interior is probably musty/3 out of 10/trashed/stained. it also needs ball joints. that is my guess and im sticking to it

Re: Here is some pics of me "new" Z28.

Well, it's got aftermarket foglights, firebird rims, and the Z28 badge is in the wrong spot on the fender and missing from the back for starters...

Regarldess, if it's a real Z it's a heck of a steal for $1500.

LOL, not if there's something seriously wrong with the car. His "good friend" took him for a ride, if that's the case.

Re: Here is some pics of me "new" Z28.

Even if it is a V6, $1500 is a good deal. Heck, I'd pay that for a nice DD.Also, 200k isn't that much for those 3.4's. Those motors last forever.....

Damn I got my 96 Z with 133k on the odo and a big dent in the rear driver side quarter panel. Cost me 3500... Which was a good deal... but damn 1500? O.o
