I'll be buying a BUNCH. Those renderings look like the work of a rather inconspicuous 5th Gen designer.... ;)

EDIT: Clearer picture.
MasterEvilAce 03-11-2006, 03:44 AM That's hot. Any details such as, will the doors open, etc?

SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!! Fall won't be here soon enough! Hopefully they realise the market for these and will crank out enough to keep up with the demand. You can be sure they'll be hard to find initially unless you want to pay the scalpers on Ebay.
I wonder how closely GM will be paying attention to how well these things sell when they come out;).
Bcolon 03-11-2006, 12:51 PM I can't find any info about them on the actual website.
OutsiderIROC-Z 03-11-2006, 02:22 PM "No new tooling is allowed from any competitor on any scale larger than 1:64 from any year Camaro"
What is that all about?
Big Als Z 03-11-2006, 02:53 PM First post in a long time...w00t!!
So...what about this concept? I havent seen anything? I thought that the Chris's guys picture was the Camaro? Who did this drawing?
:) Ill take one in red and silver.
MarcR94v6 03-11-2006, 03:01 PM How fast are they? I bought my dad one of those extra detailed Corvette's by "New Bright" and I've driven a Chevy Avalanche by them as well and they both sucked, too slow.
Burmite 03-11-2006, 03:50 PM I'm not too thrilled about the looks of the gray one but the red one looks completely awesome!
EllwynX 03-11-2006, 05:14 PM I'm not too thrilled about the looks of the gray one but the red one looks completely awesome!
I like the lowered look of the silver one, but MUCH prefer the brushed aluminum wheels of the red.
As much as many may not like them, I'd really like to see what this Camaro would look like with a GFX kit and slightly more pronounced spoiler similar to the ones on the 3rd Gen Firebird(wing across the back) or the one from the 3rd Gen Camaro...
Blue89Bird 03-11-2006, 06:47 PM and we all know who made them too right? If you don't

Oh, Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want at least 2!!!!!!!!!!!!  :metal:
fredmr39 03-11-2006, 11:18 PM I'm not too thrilled about the looks of the gray one but the red one looks completely awesome!
Can you really say that without seeing a picture of the completed product? Or even seeing one in person? Seems like similar reaction to when the Camaro Concept first was revealed.
detltu 03-12-2006, 01:25 AM I've never bought a JADA model but if they are the only game in town I'll be buying some soon.
Big Als Z 03-12-2006, 01:30 AM I was saying to myself "Man that Camaro looks dumb with the dubs on it" then I thought...it already has 21/22's on it...so how big are those wheels if they were to scale?
30thZ286speed 03-12-2006, 03:40 AM Now thats what I am talking about, to heck with the hot wheels sized die-cast cars that everyone was talking about in other threads. 1:18th is the way to go.
Good thing there is a huge die-cast internet seller based here in the town I live in, they have a awesome showroom and I am sure they will have these Camaros as soon as they are released.
www.diecastdirect.com Check out there huge inventory
This is were I found a die-cast of the Camaro Legends Tour truck, which I have never seen anywhere else.

that thing is tucking like 28's and 30's or SOMETHING ridiculous.
jg95z28 03-12-2006, 12:26 PM I wish someone other than Jada Toys had done these. The whole DUB idea of cars all look too cartoonish to me, and I've never ever thought of adding any of them to my diecast collection. :(
30thZ286speed 03-12-2006, 02:44 PM If you notice the ad its going to be available in stock form as well as the DUB edition, I will be picking up the stock version. I don't have any DUB cars in my collection, for the most part I don't care for them, but they do make a pretty sweet looking Grand National that I thought about picking up.
Ryan's LT1 03-12-2006, 03:13 PM I'll be getting the stock looking ones too. For some strange reason, a Camaro on 30's just doesn't sit right with me...

I did notice. Still every car they make looks cartoonish and lacks accuracy. Unlike other manufacturers like Lane.

The Legends tour has been around for a long time bought mine 4-5 yrs ago from a dealer.
graham 03-14-2006, 04:34 PM The red car looks to have a lower proportioned chin compared to the concept and I like it!

Not many can have that accuracy. Plus Lane hand makes their cars up in Michigan and only do limited runs. Not a big mass produced, down the assembly line type deal.
