Gotta say DAMN these are some wide tires!! My new wheels should be in sometime this week so I can get these mounted up. I'm also getting my fender lips rolled this Thursday because there is NO way these will fit in there with my car being lowered.

Beautiful:cool:

Unfortunately, when I swapped rims, all I could afford was the Sumitomos in the 315 size. Still quite a bit better than stock, but I'll probably be getting something much stickier in the near future so I can actually hook 1st gear.

I bought them from Tire Rack. Seems everywhere, including Discount Tire Direct is out of stock and on backorder on these tires and like every other 315until at least April.

Forgot to say they were $590 shipped to my door. Definitly not the cheapest tire, but you pay for what you get. I have these tires on now in the 275/40-17 size and I absolutely LOVE them so these will for sure be awesome, and for that the $277 per tire price is worth it.

From everything I've seen, those are the widest 315s out there.

I ordered the Sumitomo HTR Zs for my car because I just can't justify spending that much on rubber right now. I paid $440 shipped for a set of 275 & 315 Sumitomos. The F1s would've cost me a little over a grand. Plus, Tirerack is showing no stock on the 275s until sometime in April, and I just couldn't wait that long.

I know the Sumitomos get their fair share of negative reviews, but anything is better than the totally bald Yoko AVS ES100s I'm currently running. If I can get one year/15k miles out of them, I'll be happy. Next time I need rubber I should be in a little better financial position, and can swing the F1s.

Just a heads up....those tires fit on my car without rolling the fender at all. They are installed on ZR1 style wheels with the GS offset.

I indeed had to roll the lips. When there wasn't any weight in the car, it was fine but once I had anything over 50 pounds in the back seat it would rub on the lips. I ended up doing a modified baseball bat technique where I used a wooden pole and started to bend the lips up and once I got it started, I took off the rim and pounded at the lips with a rubber mallet. Came out pretty nicely and I used a heat gun to keep the paint nice and warm and I had no problems with it cracking. I will put some pictures up of the wheels/tires after I go wash my car:D
