You feeling OK Mike?

I just searched and there is no thread with 700 in the title that wasn't more then a few months old...

Maybe the original poster deleted it or changed it's name, but My thoughts are they deleted it...

*** EDIT ***
Strange, this thread didn't come up in that search either and it had 700 in the title???

If it was titled 700R4 or 400TH I erased it yesterday. It also had a poll for chosing 350TH, 400TH, or 700. Hopefully thats the one you mean. If not maybe someone else will fess up. If there was something in the thread you wanted to read I can e-mail it to you. I sent it to myself before erasing it.

It's no big deal, I just spent a good bit of time to research some facts, including digging up old parts at the shop so I could offer accurate info for the member that started the thread, as well as any other member that this info might help.
I'm not the only user who posted replies, but I don't remember who all else did.
I guess the info didn't really matter in the first place, if so, why start the thread? There are other members that need help and although I have only a few answers, it sometimes takes time, and research, to make sure the reply info I post is accurate.
Anyway.:(

It did have "700r4" in the title and body of the thread but I saw no content that would qualify it for being deleted, other than by the thread starter for whatever reason. I don't think it was linked to a poll.
I don't need the info. I have the info. And that info is from my experience and can be very useful for anyone considering the subject of the post. I did consider it at one time but changed my mind as a result of all the facts I posted. I just don't like spending my time and effort to try to help someone if it's going to be deleted.
But life goes on and this subject will arise agian, and I'll continue to try to help. Maybe the next user will actually need it. :)

My thread was in 3RD gen area not here. I just thought you might have forgot where you saw it. But if you subscribed to it here it was not mine. Mine was about which trans to use in my third gen.

It wasn't yours then. Did you get your question answered in your thread in the '3rd gen section'?

Yes. Everyone recommended I stick with my 700R instead of going to a 400 or 350.

I agree for a stock or mildly modded street car. :thumb:
