Will it fit right in? Is it possible to take the engine (3800 series 2) out of my 97 v6 camaro and put a 3800 series 3 supercharged in it? You can see this engine at crateenginedepot.com

No, not to my knowledge. If so it would take a LOT of work. The 3800 Supercharged engine came in: Bonevelle SSEi, Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, Buick Regal GS, Monte Carlo SS, and I think I'm forgeting one other. Anyways, all of these cars were front wheel drive. I believe it's in the engine bay sideways as well.

Powerdyne makes a centrifugal supercharger for your engine. Its a little over 3k but that would be a lot cheaper than buying a sc 3 series and installing it. Dont know how well those 3.8l motors perform though, FI or stock.

3.8L Camaro is 200hp... Mid 15's... 3.8L GTP is 240hp, Mid to High 14's.

Isnt the GTP centrifugal? The powerdyne is 6psi i think but you can also do pullies. Ive seen GTP's in the low-mid 13's

i dont think any car came with a centifugal charger from the factory (except some old studebakers). most factory superchargers are roots style.

That's with a pulley, !ubend and air filter usually.

Trust me, I spun em off the line and put a hurtin on a 98 GTP in my Z, had almost a car length at 60 and I figure my Z is a mid 13 sec car.
