this item does not fit my vehicle ????

I saw this cool cd player on clutchfield, but when I selected the make and model it says that it will not fit the model. What does that mean exactly???
No way is gonna fit, or will need modifications, can anybody explain?

The factory HU is very shallow so most after-market HU's are not a drop in replacement. They typically require a dash kit that makes the HU stick out almost an inch. And these look like crap. You can get around this by simply removing the tab in your dash that supports the rear of the factory HU and using a dash kit like the Metra 99-3009

You can get a nice Alpine, clarion or Pioneer for that much from ikesound.com or a number of other places.

I imagine that peak is per channel....so in theory....55X4= 220.

I have no doubts that sound quality, and features are going to be below average, regardless of the MFR. claimed max output.

I dont think that you would be happy with it anyway, those are very low quality.
