OK, so I purchased a set of C6 black chrome corvette rims for my black 95z. 20 x 10.5 rear and 18 x 9.5 front. What is a good tire size for this setup? I'm thinking 285/35/18 for the front but I'm not sure what to do about the back.

go with 275 or 285 in the front and 295 in the back.

If I go with 295 in the back what should the aspect ratio be? I thought 35 would be correct but I'm having trouble finding that size.

I bought a set of used rims/tires. 10.5 and 275/30s on 'em. What can I say? They were a good price. But the 275's are WAAAAAAY too small for these wheels. I had one guy wondering how the air stayed in the tires. I'm thinking that I'll have to go with 315's--at least for the rear.

295/35/18's looked perfect on my old Z06s.

A 295/35-20 (if it even exists) would put you over 28" on the diameter.... almost 2.5" larger than the stock tires, and just barely able to fit in side the wheel openings. Is that the kind of look you are after????
If you don't really want huge diameter tires in the rear, and want something closer to stock diameter, you would need a 295/25-20. Michelin makes that size, and it is correct for a 10.5" wide wheel. Continental also makes a 305/25-20 that would work, depending on the offset of the wheels.
