I'm looking at this setup for my 97 trans. I like the wheels, but am skeptical about the tires. Has anyone heard of vredestein tires? Are they quality? Also, how much does the ride quality diminish as a result of the larger 18" wheels- would 17s be a smarter route? (i think the 18s would look real nice on my car)

Also, once I put the bigger wheels on (18" x 9.5") will i be alright to drive for a while until I get my pcm tuned down the road. In other words, will there be anything other, besides the couple mph difference on the speedometer, that i should worry about?

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

cant really tell the sidewall design, but from what i can see, looks similar to the General tires we sell at work. I wouldnt be surprised if they are some brand of General/Continental
