hey all,
i will be taking my car out next month and am just getting ready......
i have Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's that are grimy/dirty and was just wondering what is the best way to clean them without losing the shine.
anyone with experience cleaning boyds wheels???
i just dont want to ruin them.....

Eagle one makes some BAD ASS wheel cleaner. It used to come in a orange bottle. Spray on and use a soft scrubber if you want. But it's mostly, spray on hose off.
Look for some Eagle on wheel cleaner. small bottle/paste. If they aren't coated, I'd say try some Never Dull.

After a good washing I use Gords Aluminum Polish to shine them up. Then I finish off with Perfect Auto Finish Chrome Cleaner / Sealant.
Works good and seems to repel the dust better.

To clean my wheels I just use car wash soap since my wheels don't get that bad. When they really need to be cleaned, I use Mother's Billet Aluminum Polish.

Great stuff to safely remove tarnish from polished wheels.
