Getting water out of gas tank...

Gotta be drained? Some guy at work said you can use "dry gas" (isopropyl alcohol) and it'll evaperate.


This is about a full tank of gas.

you mean a full tank of gas or a full tank of water?

how much water we talking about.

just a little you can use the additive. should work fine

its a full tank of gas in the car thats been sitting in a garage for a year, i'm not even sure if there is water in it.

Starts to run crappy when it gets to 180* (temp). Just wanna cover all my bases.

The best thing you can do is drain the tank....

but your not going to do that so.... fill the tank up with 93 and drive it to about 3/4 of a tank and fill it up and drive it some more. you need to work all the old gas out of the system.... next time use a Fuel Stabilizer(STA-BIL)
