Another "what if" thread

Hey guys i got some quick questions. I have a 99 z-28 with Lid, K&N, Long Tube Headers, High flow Cat with cat back system, 4.11 gears, M6. What kinda HP am i making? If i was to race a Mach 1 with headers, X pipe and highflow cats with cat back, CAI how would it go? Whats the next Mod i should invest in. I dont wanna go on the spray. Just give me some general feedback and suggestions. Thanks in Advance.

Go get your car dynoed, and that will let you know without a doubt.

Drag Radials.

With you having an M6, it's gonna come down to the driver. The cars should be similar in speed.

Cant stress DR's enough. with the mods in my sig, i lost to a mach 1 at the track because of no traction. if i had DR's, i would have killed him. He had em, and it showed how much it helped.

agreed...TRACTION

drag radials and probalby soom lower control arms and a new poly torque arm mount. too keep your rear in check. if you have a little more $$$ go for some lca relocation brackets.

you should be putting about 320rwhp, more if it's tuned.

A friend of mine has a 03 Mach 1 with a few simple bolt ons (exhaust, cai, and gears) and we are pretty equal at the track. The last time we were at the track together we both were running street tires and it came down to a drivers race when deciding who won. Your LS1 should be quite a bit quicker than my LT1. The track we were running at was about 4500 feet elevation and we were running low 14's. :cry:
