Max Tire size for 15x8 prostar?

I order some prostars for my 93z and now im lookin for tires. Im now wondering what the max size is i can run.

Regarding your question.... what type of tires are you looking for? Street... drag radial..... DOT slicks..... true slicks......

I posted twice hoping i would get a quick reply, then i was going to delete the LT1 thread. As for the thread, im lookin for Drag radials.

Go to the Mickey Thompson web page for M/T Drag radial size info. Tire Rack has the recommended wheel widths for BFG Drag Radials. The Nitto home page has links to the 555R drag radial specs and wheel width requirements.

Are you looking for something close to the stock tire diameter, or something larger like a 28" tire?

The most I would put on a 15x8 (and what I probably will run) is a 275/50/15 (26") or a 275/60/15 (28").
