Well, a few months ago I did a lot of searching on here looking for a good set of pads that would not dust or squeak. I made a list, checked it twice and went with the NAPA ceramix. It has been a couple of months and I will say that they are great!! Little to no dust and they have not uttered a sound, plus they stop on a dime (stock setup). I know some have used them and did not like them, but I wanted to give back to you guys for your help and hopefully this may help someone. Thanks again for all the input.

IMO the stock setup on a LT1 will never stop on a dime no matter what pads you use. GM didn't increase the rotor size on a LS1 for the hell of it.

No dustless pad will stop on a dime.

Good to know they're quiet though. Technically its impossible to stop on a dime anyway but I felt the stock brakes were fine for what they were. Yet I still appreciate my C5 brakes and Hawk HPS pads.

I auto-x my car and still run with stock pads. Can't seem to find a good enough reason to get rid of them, but if I do, I'll take your NAPA pads under advisement. What was the cost?

ok, maybe not on a dime but for a DD it does well. The cost was $195.00 for all four.

Aren't ceramic pads really tough on stock rotors? Thought you had to run rotors made to work with ceramic pads.....
