Baking Paint Onto Engine?

Isn't there a way to bake paint onto an engine after painting/clearcoating it with high temp engine paint/clearcoat to keep it from scratching?

I've searched and can't find a thing..

after you paint/clearcoat, the baking you're referring to would have to be done in a paint booth if this is not available it will just have to dry normally. if you have a heated garage you could crank the heat up in there but the temperatures an automotive paint booth reaches is like 130 degrees at least that's what we bake them at, at the bodyshop i work at. All baking does is dry the paint REALLY FAST so there's not as much down time in between jobs so if you just let it air dry you should be fine also. The clearcoat will keep it from scratching as easy NOT the baking.

Not sure what your asking. Back in the old days we used to bake on enamal paint and of course you have to bake powder coat. But modern epoxy paints don't need baking, they harden by chemical reaction.
