What do you think an 01 camaro z with a heads/cam package from patriot performance.(.565. cam and heads unknown) a 3500 stall 4.10gears and a 200 shot could run? I know there are many factors but could I get a guesstimate? Thanks for the help.

should be able to run low 10s,possibly get into the 9s but as stated, factors prevail.

Does it also have headers, proper PCM programming, suspension work along with slicks that will allow the car to launch? Horse power alone doesn’t make low ETs, it requires all components working together. Remember, 64% of your ¼ mile ET is made in the first 660 ft (1/8 mile), so if the car doesn’t launch well you will not realize its full potential. Running in the 10s consistently takes a “well built” race car and 9s for a full-body car is another issue completely.
Also, 11.49 to 11.00 requires a roll bar and 10.99 and below will require a 6 point cage if you're planning on being in the 10s.
Take it to the track and let us know what it does!

For 1/8 mile times with a stock F-Body LT1 and ET DRs, I'll give you an ET range of 8.90 to 9.28. That would convert to 1/4 mile ETs of 13.90 to 14.50. Take it to the track and let me know how it does!

I know that this is an old thread but I still feel the need to clarify this statement.
There is an exception to the cage rule and it states: "if it's a full bodied car (not a 'vert) with the floorpan, body, and firewall un-modified then a 6 point rollbar is ok down to 10.00. pg 21 2006 NHRA rulebook. pg 105 2006 IHRA rulebook.
