The fast car bug has bitten me hard, so I'm selling my truck to buy an '04 GTO. I wish I could afford to own them both, but that ain't happening on a teacher's salery.
Its a 2000 Chevy Silverado extended cab, short bed, LT trim package with dual heated leather power bucket seats (charcoal grey), am/fm/cass/cd, power everything, heated sideview mirrors, single piece rear window with electric defogger, it has basically every option that I know of that was available in 2000 except for Onstar. Mechanically it has Z-71 suspension, Autotrac transfer case, locking rear end with 3:73 gears, and the towing package with a 2" square reciever hitch and a factory wired 7 pin connector (I will thrown in a 4 pin adaptor for the buyer).
It had 50k miles, the last 20k of which were 95% highway miles. The tires have about 3/4 of the tread left. The truck overall is in fantastic shape. I have every servic record since day 1 of it's life. My dad was the original owner, and its actually still in his name so technically this is a 1 owner truck. It has never been in an accident and never been taken off road.
For the sake of full disclosure, the truck has 1 small dent on the hood with no paint damage (I'm sure dent-busters could take it out), and there are a few light scratches on the left side of the bed where my dad had a tool box. It has black aluminum running boards that aren't in great shape. I had planned to take them off, but never got around to it. The tool boxes and ladder rack have been removed, but are available at a small extra cost.
The truck is in Atlanta, IL. I am willing to drive it anywhere within a day's drive so long as you pay in advance for the truck, the gas, and a plane ticket home. Email me at woodshop00@gmail.com or call 217-648-2510 and leave a message, my name is Dylan.
I'm asking $15,500 obo
