thinking of geting sts but my car is dropped 3 inches alround.so clearance is a issue.does anyone have any solutions on how i can fix the clearance issue with out rasing my car.also that system is like 4000.is there a good super charger kit that comes with everything for about the same price.and wat do you think will make more power.also when it comes to preping your engine 4 a turbo or super charger;is it the sam for a turbo as a super charger.

I dont know how much procharger is but i favor them.
and such as far as prepin the engine, i cant say from experience but from what ive read i dont know why it would be different, still forced induction. Just depends how much boost your planning to run on either

prochargers are about 5-6 grand depending on the kit you get. you can get the d-1sc which produces more boost but you need injectors and a fuel pump. the p-1sc comes with everything you need but if you plan on forging your motor later and running more boos t i would go with a d-1sc kit. if you want a turbo i would look at gmrspeed.com at the single turbo kit. its $4,000 i beleive. good luck on your purchase.

oh ok thats the thing im running an LS1. I was going to go with a procharger D-1sc but my buddy talked me into goin g with a turbo. You can more more power at less boost and make the power sooner in the RPM range. I dont know about turbos for an LT1. Try STS or JLturbo.com. but they both are rear mounted turbos. I favor front mounted. Although they are pushing pretty good numbers with rear mounts. good luck.

I found a place that sells front mounted turbo kits for an LT1.Go to proturbokits.com then go to GM street kits. I believe they sell a kit for $4,000 for your LT1. hope this helps.

Forcedinductions.com is the reseller for proturbokits.

If you're really worried about ground clearance, you could also look into ovalized pipe. Dr Gas is one source I've seen people use http://www.drgas.com/store/home.php?cat=8
