i dont have anything done to the engine yet ive only had the car about a month but i love it i went from driveing my v6 camaro to this and love it i wanna do the exaust first but i dont know which one is the best

supura tail lights, celica head lights? what a way to rice a camaro out. My car is fully shaved and the body kit is molded in. Let me ask 1 question. after you shaved the door handles did they crack? and dont even tell us you put 25 grand in a v6 becuse there is no way you put 25 grand in a v6 unless you gold plated the whole car or some one riped you off bad. like i said ive done everything i could possibaly do to my car and only have 15 grand in it. and thats 10 in the engine and 5 total on the body and interrior. figure in another 2k for a fully fiiberglassed interrior that im fixing to start and 4k for the audio setup and the car is finished. fully modded out. and even then my car will still run a low 11 and maby a high 10 in the 1/4.

now for the other part of my post. Dont come on this board and talk **** to the members. your going to get flamed for doing those things to a camaro expecaly a ss. What build number is your ss btw? Could you please also post how you converted celeca headlights to fit in a 4th gen? i just googled celica head lights and i cant see anyway to fit them in a 4th gen. If it can be done someone on here would have done it alreasy. once again do not get on here crusing at members and talking **** thats a good way to get banned.

The spoiler, the wheels, the hood (which will remain unpainted, nobody buys a light weight hood then throws 100 pounds of stereo in the back, it's there for "rice" effect),the altezza tailights, the nx sticker on the hatch glass (when there is no nitrous system), and top it off with that horrible wheel well gap (is it even lowered ?) and you have an unfortunate ss that looks like it was subjected to a bad episode of "pimp my ride".

Which camaro are we talking about here? The orange one is horridious (sorry) But the SS isn't THAT bad. Carbon fiber hoods are mostly geared for import tuners, it just dosen't look right on a camaro thats why i just got a fiberglass SS hood instead, its your car do what the **** you want man.

the orange car was a show car and i done it just for show and the reason i done the celica frontis cause i wreckd the car and there was no way the front would ever return to lookin like a camaro

What's the stuff underneath the "SS" on the front fenders of the car? I tried reading it, but I can't make it out. Oh, and paint the hood, don't leave the CF showing.

ok lets put it this way i had prettymuch everything u had and more i put a new engine in it bought the rksport supercharger all that was a good 4500 to 5grand and i had 20" davin spinners and that was another 4 grand and the celica conversion wasnt **** thats all i do is custom bodywork all i had to do was cut the hood and mold the front bumper in 2 spots and they fit right in

and its 20" badges under the ss there made by tis

I am dying to see this...If you put different wheels on the SS, it would look better...maybe since youve got all this money to throw at your cars you can get some ccw's or some hre's...maybe the carbon fiber hood will look ok, but the rims dont fit a "muscle car." The market these cars were made to satisfy are mostly going to puke when they see what you've done to a beautiful SS...but to each their own...oh yea I really want to see the link to the celica headlighted camaro...good luck with your project I guess

Aight guys, c'mon. Enough with the bashing. It's easy to do what everyone else does to a car and then circle jerk because your cars look the same. Obviously, oneslowz28 doesn't apply to this since he has a lot of stuff that people have never bought (sniper bodykit, black widow hood..). But, even speaking in terms of his car (do NOT take this offensively, as I'm one of the most open minded people to modding a car) the hood and bodykit would be bawked at on most websites, and he'd get flamed just as bad. It's just how it goes. People have a comfort level, some are more comfortable with things than others, and then there's some that are "purists" and can't stand any aftermarket mod on a car (IE: the thread in here asking if indiglo gauges are rice :rolleyes: ) but flatout bashing this guy for doing what he wants to his car isn't cool. Constructive criticism is one thing, but being immature and making fun of his car or telling him to go drive into a pole... grow up and stay off the boards, that type of attitude doesn't belong on a community message board.

Personally, I'll admit, most of the stuff done to the car isn't even my style, and my car is 100% show and no go, but I still couldn't do spinners, celica headlights, supra taillights, etc. If it works for you, if you get awards or recognition and the quality of the work is good, amen to you buddy for having the balls to do what YOU want to YOUR car. There are tasteful modifications and there are distasteful modifications.
There are also nice mods that work seperately, but not together.

A fourth gen camaro is a very difficult car to modify asthetically and what works on other cars (carbon hoods, ghetto bling 20" wheels, massive spoilers) definitally does not look good on them.

Kudos to anybody trying something new, but realize that once it's done, if it's ugly, people will call it ugly.

Telling him to go drive his car and himself off the edge of a cliff or into a pole, that's another and just plain immature. I gotta agree here fellas. It's his car and he's aparently proud of it. If you don't like it fine, to each his own but don't continualy put this guy down for his taste. Let's remember, Rice is how you act not what you drive.

TO THE THREAD STARTER: Do what you want. Some are going to like it and some are going to hate it. Bottom line is they don't drive/see/work on your car everyday. Ignore the personal attacks but kindly acknowledege the constructive critisim and leave it at that. Don't lose sleep or get worked up over others dislike of your style.

As a bodyman I would really like to see some pics of how you made celica lights work. I'm trying to picture it in my head and can't figure out how it would work. If you can do it as easy as you make it sound congrats and you've got a bright future. Good luck with the SS.

Remove the 20" emblems, and the 20's. 18 front 19 rear combo is about the most that can be pulled off on these cars and look decent. The hood is kind of iffy, i hope you'll paint it but then you might as well just left your SS hood on. It is your car and maybe i'm a little more conservative than some but get you some nice 18in wheels, paint the hood, lower it and you'll have a good looking SS again.

Oh please post up some pics of your headlight conversion. I'm sure i won't like the way it looks but i'm always amazed by what body men can do to a car.

The rims are just wrong. They look like they were purchased at Pep Boys. And the car looks like a 4x4. Exposed wires in a stereo installation makes the car look unfinished. But hey, to each his own.

I like the carbon fiber hoods as long as they are painted. They save alot of weight and look pretty good on imports. But don't like them on F-bodies

That car is absolutely disgusting. Altezzas, lambo doors, those ugly rims: The only thing you've got in your favor is the motor. I'm sorry for the harshness, but seriously... If you like your car, then more power to you; I'd rather donate to the war effort than make my car look like that... and I hate Bush.
