i have a 2000 camaro SS m6. I live in california and i realized the only way that i could make big power(besides n20) is through forced induction. I have spent a lot of time searching through this forum doing searches and stuff and this is what i came up with....

ati procharger and all the fuel requirements all the parts come in the "power pack 3" just scroll down the page.... (http://tbyrne.com/ls1catalog.html) click power packages on the top left and scroll down to package #3 with the s/c'r

a new 9" rear end, maybe a moser.....

spec stage 3 clutch

with some ballpark numbers i have come with a total cost of around $8000 for all the parts and the installs....

I also read that if i got new cylinder heads, i could run a lower psi pressure on the blower and still get the same power as if i ran a higher psi through stock heads.... is this true? safer?

Anything that you guys wanna throw in that i should know would be greatly appriciated as i am very new to forced induction.

As for heads, I would run some with bigger combustion chambers (6.0L 317 castings are a good candidate) and more boost. The bigger combustion chambers will lower your compression ratio, allowing you to run more boost without detonation.
