Really need help on which rear to use for my future hp and torque goals.

I am planning on having a new forged engine installed and using a turbo system. In genreal, i mostly plan on running at a low boost. Maybe something along the lines of 500 Rwhp around town. I would only go to the track maybe once or twice a year to turn up the boost to make it reach 750-800 Rwhp. I mostly keep the car garaged and don't even use it as a daily driver. I'll take it out once or twice a week in summer if i have time.
So having told you the way i use my car and what my goals are, can you recommend which rear to use? I have emailed people who build rears, and some have told me thats right in between the use of a 12 bolt vs. 9 inch.
I am mostly looking for reliability.
Also, if you can recommend which gears for the rear. Maybe even give some pros and cons of both rears. Things like the difference between a posi and spool amongst other things. I am new to discussions of Rear ends on cars. I greatly appreciate the help.

as much as i hate ford, i'd have to choose the 9". it's easier to setup and workv on and it's a better design really.

What tranny are you planning to run? What use do you to optimize the setup for? What tire will you be using?

I haven't even decided on a tranny yet. Open to some options from you guys about that. Although i assume the shop that is building me the negine and turbo setup are prob going to end up building the tranny accordingly. The setup is going to mostly be for a street setup. May see the track in a distant future, but i plan on showing the car off before i start ruining things on it by drag racing it at the track. I am going to stick with the tires i already have on my car. I have 18 in rims and have 245/40's in the front and 275/35's in the rear. The fronts are BF G Force KDWs and the rears are BG Goodrich G force DOT Drag Radials.

Do you mind if I ask how much that setup ran you from moser? complete? I've played with the idea of getting a 9" for my car, I hate to for a mostly street setup but I'd like to play with it on the track some too.

I get cost on everything I got sence I work at a place thats a dealer for them, over all I think I spent around 2400 to build it myself me doing all the work, I just ordered the rear housing/axles, third member, pinion support and the spool from them, everything else I got from our local supplyer the gears and bearings ring gear bolts, you can add probably about 20% on top of that if you would order it direct from them, they charged me like an extra 100 to put the rear support on there to.

With those tires you won't have to worry about breaking the rear end. It's going to be spin city when the turbo spools up. So, I would say it really doesn't matter.
