so I dont condone or really "street race" but last night on the way to the airport to pick up my father, I encountered a C5. we were at a light and just left the light casually.. then he starts revving next to me.. I drop a gear and we do a little punch.. I have him by a fender then a car turns into my lane. I back off.. we get around the car and start again. this time I am walking him..rather decidedly.. especially after I grabbed 3rd. Once I have a car and pulling I back off and end that encounter..
after I got dad, we are on the freeway heading to my aunts house. While we are talking on the freeway a black Carerra pulls up next to us.. we cruise for a mile or more next to eachother.. the freeway ahead opened up and the porsche revs and gets aggressive next to me.. I drop 3 gears and then we go.. and as before I start walking him. Once I have half a car on him I back off and resume cruise control..
Now what I dont like about it...
No matter what, I would bet that neither of the drivers I raced would believe my car is bone stock..
:(
Ohh well.. at least I got to run with my father in the car... gives us good times.. (I am 34 and my father is like 64 or something)
I never had to go into the 100's and here in Texas if you get caught street racing its a one way ticket to Jail plus you get your car towed! woot woot!
I normally race at HRP (Houston Raceway Park) but havent had much opportunity as of late to get out there..
