Help me pick out my new camaro! lt1 or ls1?

OK searched and came up with nothing. help me out here. I finally come to my senses and sold my 95 talon tsi. and im in the market for a camaro 728. Lookin for a 95-03. tryin not to spend every dollar i have so my question is what are the differences in the lt1 and the ls1. hp numbers? which one reacts better to performance parts? Easy to work on? both come with a 6sp m6 right? thanks alot for any help. also im bout to look at sts.com but how have the sts turbo cars come out in the performance and reliability standpoint. also has anyone swapped an lt1 to an ls1? again thanks for any help.

Both cars are good, the LS1 makes better numbers. I'd just go for the newest one you can afford. And yes, both are available with an M6. I went from LT1 to LS1 and am happy with the transition.

if you arent going to mod it much, go with the ls1, otherwise if you are going to totally renovate the car, save the money initially and go lt1.

Finding a decent miled LT1 is getting harder and harder nowadays...Ls1 makes a ton more power and if you get the right year there dirt cheap.
