I think you guys are going to say find a CAT scale on the interstate.
Once I do how does the process work.

Do you feed money into a machine and simply drive on to a platform.

Again how does it work?

Thanks

There's a big scale at my local track...

You can also go to a dump or something.

I went to our county dump a few years ago and politely asked if I could use their scale to weigh my car. It probably wasn't the most accurate reading, but I'm sure it was in the neighborhood.

I went to a nearby co-op. Not really sure what they do there, but they have a scale. I dropped by after hours, no one was there so I just drove onto the scale, and peeked in the window at the reading.

Go anywhere were dump truck go to dump loads/pick up dirt, gravel or whatever. Any of these places always have a weight station. They are fairly accurate since they charge ppl by weight. Otherwise, go to your local garbage fill or dump, they usually have a weight station. You wont need to pay these ppl.

There are truck scales on the hiway on my way home, I just drive onto the scale and hope they left it on.
I only do this when they are closed. You won,t even have to get out of the car if you dont want to. And these scales are really accurate as well since they are DOT.
