that's definitely welcome news.

of course, Consumer Reports knows nothing about cars and only reports based on their own subscriber base. not exactly a "random" sampling as anyone getting their automotive information from CR is most definitely (what the british call) a ninny. :rolleyes: not only that, they somehow feel they have "authority" to project quality/reliablity rating into the future. but on what do they base these projections? :confused: bias. tainted "data" is all that comes to mind with CR.

I agree completely. I remember looking up their ratings of the Gen4 F-bodies, and they were horrific! And yet, the cars have proven to be quite reliable, despite getting hammered way more often than your average Sentra.
