98+ can only get lids. They all pretty much flow the same.

98+ can get both! The Lid and CAI. The CAI for 98+ is the metal scoop that goes in front of the radiator. So I would get both!

That's the ram air you're talking about not CAI.

Here's a some info http://thunderracing.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=subcategory&subcategoryid=1119

I'm not saying this site is the best to get them, 'cause I don't know. Just a good place to start.

Yes, get both. The Whisper Lid and CAI/Ram Air (whatever you want to call it). Go to www.thunderracing.com and then to Induction. Get the Lid and the Metal Scoop (SLP Cold Air) for 99 Camaro. You can go to the site in my sig then go to modifications and I have pictures of the installation of both.

Tbyrne sells the whisper ram air kit. It's identical to the fasttoys brand, but cheaper.

You dont have to have a special hood. The SLP Ram Air picks up air from in front of the radiator underneath the nose of the car.
