The Camaro concept looks like a Cadillac XLR

Check it out:

This is not a good thing IMO.

Yes, the similarities are overwhelming.

This was worth starting another thread?

Other than they both have the hard edged chiselled design going on I don't see much similarity. The Camaro looks much more aggressive from every angle IMO.

I disagree that it does, but it's not all that bad to look similar to a $70k+ car anyway IMO.

I can see your point but I've never liked the chiseled design. I was crushed when I saw it on the Camaro concept.

Art and Science is one of the most cutting edge design themes in the world.
Is it really a problem for Camaro to follow it?

Re: The Camaro concept looks like a Cadillac XLR

First it should look like a Ford GT or an Acura NSX.
http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=424595

Then it is ugly and needs to look more retro:
http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=424591

Now it looks like yet another car, which of course..."isn't good".

Enough, buddy. We ALL get the point. Give it a rest because we don't have to hate it and you don't have to like it.

This site is mainly for the benefit of those who do like the car and those who can offer contructive criticism. It is not for random bashings to stir up a hornet's nest. If the rest of the world hates the car as much as you think they do, you should have NO problem finding PLENTY of other sites that will welcome you with open arms. I suggest you find one of those sites so you can post until your fingers bleed. Many have made it overly clear that this is not the site for it. Like I said, give it a rest.
